That was a very warm and light-hearted story.



Jake Stafani is an Italian cop.

He is everything a woman needs. Caring, supportive and very protective of those he loves. He is a family man. He bought a big house and dreamt to fill it with beautiful bambinos. When he moved to his new house he didn't expect to meet the little charming eight-year-old Eric and his gorgeous widowed mother Carrie nor he expected they will steal his heart and charm him.

"you would be the death of me" He told her once.

Carrie is a successful gorgeous brunette.

She lost her husband six years ago in a very bad incident during a bank rubery where he was shot by a cop. Yes, a Cop.

This means that the last thing she would do is fall in love with a cop but Jake was so different. He was everything she needed in her life and she could not throw away the love she saw in his eyes towards her and her son.

"He was heat and passion, hard muscle and bone-deep strength, all wrapped up in mobile lips and a tender touch, oxygen for a starved heart."

But if she wanted her happily ever after she had to fight her own demons ,get over Tomas's death and accept Jake for the man he is not the uniform he wears.

If you want to curl on your sofa with a cup of hot chocolate then you should add this book to the collection.
It was a very nice read.
