Review: Secret Heir

Secret Heir Secret Heir by M.J. Prince
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eden stars!

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

“God, you have no idea how much I want to be inside you,” he says, and his words send a delicious thrill along my skin.
“I want to be inside you so bad, that I can’t even think straight half the time, and when we’re lying in that bed of yours, my body on yours … it takes everything I have, every last bit of self-control to stop myself from burying myself deep inside you.”

An absolute enjoyable read.

But seriously?!!

A CLIFFHANGER!!!

A C.L.I.F.F.H.A.N.G.E.R!!

description

Ten foster homes with different faces and zero sense of belonging, Jazmine always felt that there was something missing in her life.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always felt … different. Like, even if I did try, I could never really fit in.”

Struggling to make ends meet, she never thought that her life would turn upside down the moment a mysterious Magnus came to see her.

“Ten years ago, on this day, my life was turned upside down when my mom was ripped from my world, and on the same day, ten years later, my life is being turned upside down again.”

Struggling to accept the idea of being a princess and the only Heir to the Evenstar Dynasty on Eden, Jazmine never thought that a certain brooding heir named Raphael would be added to the equation.

The St. Tristan Dynasty and The Evenstar Dynasty are like the day and the night, they never meet but this should be told to Raph and Jazmine's hearts who couldn't fight the attraction and the feelings that were blossoming between them.

“He sweeps the sunlight away, just as I coax the darkness forward, our powers perfectly in sync. The connection that I feel between us in that moment shakes me to the core. I’ve never felt so close to someone in my entire life, so connected, and I’m certain there’s no other feeling like this in the entire universe. The feeling is so alien, so new, yet at the same time, it feels as ancient as time itself, as primal as my deepest desires.
In that moment, with our powers fused together, it’s as if we’re one person. Like two halves of a whole snapping into place with such finality, that it’s almost frightening. It feels like I’ve been wandering through the universe for an age, lost, searching for something and in this moment, I’ve finally found that lost fragment of myself. It’s him.”

A beautiful and captivating story with the sweet touch of the forbidden love, the power of magic and the mystery of the unknown.

Review: Wolfsong

Wolfsong Wolfsong by T.J. Klune
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Epic and Awesome stars!

“I want your blood on my tongue. I want to break you open and crawl inside of you. I am a monster because of the things I could do to you that you wouldn’t be able to stop me from doing.”

As my first MM romance, now I know that I was missing a lot but I also know that this book would ruin the other coming books, because there is no way that another story would steal my heart and break it to shreds the way this book did.

I was never a fan of werewolves. And even though people's fasination with these creatures is remarkable, they never caught my attention until now.

Until Joe...

Until Ox...

Wolfsong is a book about loss, friendship, love and most of all sacrifice.

“You fucking bastard. How dare you die in front of me.”...
“I would do it again. If it meant keeping you safe.”

Review: Suddenly Forbidden

Suddenly Forbidden Suddenly Forbidden by Ella Fields
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Like the moon and the stars.” stars!

description

“You smell and taste like my heart,” he whispered to the underside of my chin, pressing lazy kisses. “And you feel like fucking heaven.”

Emotional, angsty and heartbrakingly beautiful.

All I wanted was to read some chapters then have a good night sleep but Quinn and Daisy had other plans for me.

Suddenly Forbidden opens to six years old Daisy and seven years old Quinn wrapped up in their little cute bubble of kids in love.

description

“I’m gonna marry you someday, Daisy June.” My breathing stopped at the same time my feet did. Spinning around, I stuck my hands on my hips and planted a smirk on my face, hoping it hid the weird feeling bubbling in my tummy. “Really?” He nodded, grinning like he did when he acted like he knew everything. “Yep. One day, after we get done with college and I take over this farm, you’ll be my wife.”

Ten years later, life happened and Daisy moved to another city taking with her Quinn's heart and happiness. They promised each other to meet but the promises were broken and their love couldnt stand the brutality of long distances.

Two years later, Daisy was ready to claim the love of her life and have her happily ever after but Quinn had already moved on with her best friend.

How is one supposed to get over the hurt and betrayal? Aren't the moon and the stars inseparable?

“I should’ve known he’d move on—that something might happen—instead of foolishly believing we’d end up together again. My heart, even now, refused to listen. It was failing to comprehend what my brain kept repeating to it. That access to its counterpart was now suddenly forbidden.”

Quinn thought that he would never see Daisy Daniels again. He moved on with his life and what little feelings remained in his heart but the moment he saw her, he knew he would never stand a chance.

“She was my first in every way, in a way that messed up something fundamental inside me when I realized we weren’t going to be each other’s last.”

A journey full of pain and betrayal but also a kind of love that was so raw and real that it stood against all the hurt.

“We more than meant a lot to each other. We were the breeze that ruffled the dandelions. The sun that scorched our skin red until we searched for reprieve under our favorite willow tree. And underneath the stretch of dark skies, we were each other’s stars.”
