Review: Imperfect Love

Imperfect Love Imperfect Love by Isabella White
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars

Now what!!!

description

Should I start counting the torturing days before the release of book 2. This waiting game will definitely drive me insane.

Oh My God!!

description

I've never cried "I mean really really cried" while reading a book.

It was just unfair how these guys treated Holly.

What and where to start with?!

I would start with the pchyso bitch mother who was so mean and selfish to think better with her brain. She just left me speechless.
Or may be her horrible father. Good God! That poor girl had so much to suffer.

I can't get over the idea that Jake just left like a coward without even explaining...

After that endless love, lust and caring he just shut off his phone and what!!! wiped her from his life like this. I just can't believe he would be such a horrible dick.

The story started so right and so warm with Holly getting over her cheating fiancé or ex-fiancé. When she met Jake everything felt different. He worshipped her body , cared about her and gave her all the love of his heart.

description

There was so mush heat between these two characters. They stood by each other and supported one another in a so beautiful way.

I have so many question like a million to ask Jake but it looks like I will have to wait for the second book to have the answers I hopefully need to read.

Thank you Isabella White for such an amazing book but please bring us the second book. It's an emergency :)

Thank you NetGalley for the provided copy.

Review: Sexsomnia - Sleepless in Manhattan

Sexsomnia - Sleepless in Manhattan Sexsomnia - Sleepless in Manhattan by Anya Omah
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

ARC kindly provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Sexsomnia - Sleepless in Manhattan is my first book to author Anya Omahand to the sexsomia disorder. Never ever heard of it before.

As much as this disorder was for me hard to digest, Ms. Anya came up with a beautifully well-written story and two amazing characters that made the book more enjoyable than expected.

Three years ago, Abigail's best friend and roommate used her sexsomnia sleeping disorder betraying her trust and leaving her nearly destroyed and unable to form any kind of relationships with men.

Now that Abby was ready to get back to the professional field and use her degrees to secure a PA position to the notorious Jayden King, she wasn't prepared to the tsunami of emotions he stirred in her every time he walked into the office.

description

Three years ago when Abigail Davis was betrayed by her best friend Jake, Jayden King was betrayed by fate.

Drowning his sorrows in alcohol and sex after losing Madison was getting old and boring. But after the new interviewee chewed his ass, Jay knew that he not only wanted her for the PA position as there were different enjoyable positions where she would rather best be. Especially on his desk...

“You want to know what I want, Abigail?”
“Yes,”...
“And you really think you can handle the answer?” Suddenly I’m not sure anymore, but I nod anyway, and take two steps back automatically.
“I want you on my desk, Abigail.” My eyes widen. “I want to fuck you until you come for me, until you explode underneath me. Again and again . I want that every fucking time you walk into this room.”

Jayden was a man who never backs from a challenge or take no as an answer, he wanted Abby and he was sure she wanted him as much all he had to do was convince her to guve them a chance but when he learned that she was conducting a study where she would have to sleep with a stranger, Jay was in no way going to sit and see a stranger share her with him. Not with the things he started to feel for her..

“I'll be damned if I’m going to let Abigail do that study with anyone besides me. I don’t care if it costs me a million dollars. Money’s no object, as long as I’m the one touching her, kissing her...”

I so much enjoyed Sexsomnia and I'm looking forward to reading more books of Anya Omah because reading this book was really a good experience.

Review: Sin With Me

Sin With Me Sin With Me by J.T. Geissinger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 sinful stars!

description

I haven't read the previous books in the series yet, but this book was ridiculously hilarious, steamy as hell and totally wonderful. I think I'm in love witb both Brody and Grace.

Believe it or not, I never heard of author J. T. Geissinger before.

Guilty as charged and should be punished... Spanking accepted especially if delivered by Brody :D

When I saw the cover of Sin With Me on Netgalley and read the blurb, I immediately fell in love with the whole package, but when I read the first page of the book, I knew I was missing a lot not reading any of this author's previous books.

Brody and Grace are two amazing characters that really blew my mind.

After eighteen months of eye fucking, fate finally brought Grace and Brody together. Fighting their attraction was no longer a possibility, but while Brody's eyes were filled with a promise of a happily ever after, Grace's amnesia was always in the way between her and happiness.

But even that wouldn't make Brody give up on her..

“I said I’m in. Fuck it. If I can make you fall in love with me once, I can make you fall in love with me again and again. Every day if I have to.”

From the moment Grace walked into Brody's life, he knew that she was the one.

description

Brody was determined to break Grace's ridiculous one-month dating with no feelings involved rule, make her his and show her how love was worth the risk.
But the moment Brody learned about the accident that took her family, her memory and nearly ruined her life, even the confessions at the chruch couldn't take the guilt and pain away.

Karma was a bitch because the moment Brody was about to show Grace how happily ever afters were real, it just took everything from his hands and left him heartbroken.

Was love strong enough to bring Brody and Grace together? And was it possible for Grace to know that Brody wasn't the monster she thought he was?

description

“Love isn’t something you choose, Angelface. It chooses you. And even if it only lasts a little while, it’s worth it. Even if it ends in flames, it’s worth it. Even if it cuts out your heart and leaves you a bruised, bloody mess, it’s worth it.”

Sin With Me is about new beginnings, the art of forgiveness and the beauty of love. It's a book that would both make you laugh and look for tissues to wipe your tears.

Ps. J. T. Geissinger please tell me you have something in mind for Barney. That man was too hot not to be given a chance.

Review: In the Heir

In the Heir In the Heir by Ruth Cardello
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 stars!

Ruth Cardello did it again and came up with a book where the reader will have an absolute enjoyable ride.

In the Heir is book one in Ruth Cardello's new series (Westerly Billionaire).
The story opens to Delinda Westerly who decided she had enough of her grandchildren's neglect and came up with a plan that would bring them together.

It's been years since the divorce that nearly destroyed her son and his kids and it was time to intervene.
Believing that love heals all wounds Delinda decided to give an early inheritance to the one who marries first and succeed to envite the while family to the wedding.

Spencer Westerly was tired of being the second in the line. Living with his mother and her new husband after the divorce was better than living with his cheating father and his cold-hearted brother Brett.
Receiving his inheritance would give his company a great push. Of course there was no way he was getting married to get the money, but since his sister's best friend Alisha was ready to help, a six-month marriage contract wouldn't complicate things.

Many people thought that Brett Westerly was a cold-hearted asshole who put himselp first, had zero interest in his family and lived for work and money. He was Ok with that because that would protect him from getting hurt again.

His family? Nobody should know how much he was involved in their lives. But when Brett heard about his brother's fake engagement, he wasn't going to sit and see his Spencer making such a huge mistake for the sake of money.

When Brett invited his brother to try and convince him not to follow his grandmother's crazy plan, he wasn't prepared for the sassy firecracker that stood to him and messed up his head with her beauty and words.

“Her words rang in his head: “What kind of monster are you?” Apparently, the kind who wants to fuck my brother’s fiancée.”

Nobody ever stood to Brett, the fire he saw in Alisha's eyes matched his and there was noway he was letting the two make such a mistake. Something about Alisha made him want crazy things..

“A smile tugged at her lips. “Your tone of voice alone makes me want to say no.” His heart thudded in his chest . “Funny, the way you look at me makes me want to hear you say yes.”

He would prove that the engagement was fake then hopefully try to convince Alisha to explore the things they felt whenever they come near each other.

“Remembering the light scent of her, the feel of her soft skin beneath his lips, he wanted to taste, claim, and pleasure every inch of her. Alisha, lying naked across his bed, offering herself to him, brought him to an uncomfortable level of excitement.”

This book was both funny and emotional. The events, the secrets and the surprises that came through the story were somehow unexpected but there was mo doubt that In the Heir was fun to read and I'm sure the story of Spencer would be far more enjoyable.

Review: The Hating Game

The Hating Game The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Shortcake stars!!

description

A debut novel that is nominated for goodreads best romance book!! That says a lot about this amazing, hilarious ridiculously awesome book.

description

Enemies to lovers is a story that never gets old but add some spicy games to the story and you would be getting a real enjoyable can't-put-down book.

The Hating Game is the story of ruthless, cold hearted Joshua Tempelman and his nemesis Lucinda Elizabeth Hutton.

My Josh

description

Because of financial troubles, "Gamin Publishing was forced into an arranged marriage with the crumbling evil empire known as Bexley Books, ruled by the unbearable Mr. Bexley himself".

This arrangement forced Gamin stuff to move into the new holding putting both CEOs' executive assistants into one office.

Lucinda and Joshua, “The company’s two worst serial complainants. ”

My Lucinda

description

When Lucy came into her new office the first mistake she did was smile to Joshua...

“He did not smile back, and somehow I feel like he’s been carrying my smile around in his breast pocket ever since.”

That's how the war began...

You want to know how things got worse?

The promotion...

One of these two opponents was going to be promoted into COO and thus going to be the boss!!!

“When I’m your boss, I’m going to work you so fucking hard,” Joshua’s voice is dirty and rough.”

“When I’m your boss, you’re going to do everything I say with a big smile on your face.”

See, they really hate each other...

Wait! Was that a smile? Or was that fever playing its tricks?

“When Josh smiles, he is blinding. My heart is pounding and I frantically catalog this moment in the half-light. It’s the only one I’ll get, while delirious with fever.”

description

The Hating Game is a mixter of love, fun, lust and strong hate/love relationship between Josh and Lucy that makes the book so unique. I would really want an epilogue though, because I still feel that the story would be more enjoyable.

Review: Wrong Turn, Right Direction

Wrong Turn, Right Direction Wrong Turn, Right Direction by Elle Casey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2,5 stars!

This was a challenging read. Had to take some time with self to come up with a reasonable review...

This was my first book to Elle Casey.
When I read the blurb, I immediately downloaded the book without any hesitation.

I really tried to like Wrong Turn, Right Direction, but we just didn't click together and I couldn't for the life of me connect with the characters or the story.

Tamika was working as a book-keeper for a Russian gangster called Pavel.
Having enough of the monster who destroyed her life, she decided to turn him in, send him behind the bars and live peacefully in another state.
On her way from the Police station, Mika took a wrong turn that would totally change her life.

Nearly crashing Thibault Delacroix's knee wasn't something she was ready to admit to the arrogant sexy jerk. It wasn't her fault he crossed the street while looking at his phone.

"I might’ve made a wrong turn, but he’s the dummy who walked out into the road without looking. It’s his fault he’s hurt, not mine."

Soon the angry exchanges between the two about whose fault the accident was, was going to be forgotten when they both realised that Mika was going into labour.

Surprise!

Who'd have known the bug that was driving her up the wall was non than her unknown baby...

description

Mika's life wasn't easy. Losing her family, having to work as a prostitute then being raped and abused by her tyrant employer and other men in her life made her have trust issues.

"I’ve always noticed men’s hands for some reason. Maybe because they’ve often been used against me, so I have to keep an eye on them."

Being taken care by a total stranger was new to her. Her life was already messed up but with the her newborn baby and her maniac of an employer was looking for her, things became more than she could handle.

When Thibault helped Mika give birth to her child, he felt a sort of a connection with her. Helping damsels in distress was his speciality. But the more time Thibault spent with Mika, the more he wanted her. And that in itself was driving him crazy because the last thing he wanted was a relationship that would complicate his life.

I don't know about other people but this book wasn't fun to read. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Review: Mixed Up

Mixed Up Mixed Up by Emma Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

description

God!! With all the dirty names of those Mixed Up drinks, Me needed like forever to come up with a review...

Of course when the book is an enemies to lovers, it's an auto buy for me, but when it's written by Emma Hart don't even have the words to describe my feelings.

Raven hated Parker and Parker hated Raven even more.

description

When she needed a chief for her new kitchen, Raven was stuck between hiring the devil or giving up on her new project. Working with the enemy was certainly calling for a disaster especially when all they were both thinking about was hate-f*cking each other.

Him..

“I’d hate-fuck the hell out of you on this counter, right here, right now, if I didn’t think you’d alarm everyone with your screaming.”

Her..

“Talk to me like that again, and you’re gonna find your balls inside that blender on the highest setting before I drown you in your own cock. I’m still your fucking boss. Are we clear, Parker Hamilton?”

See? They totally hate each other.

There were million reasons why Raven was off limits for Parker.

“She was so many different kinds of forbidden it wasn’t even close to funny. My best friend’s sister, my boss, the person I’d hated my whole life. The only thing that would hold me back was the knowledge she hated me more than I did her. If I kissed her, she’d probably remove my cock with her bare hands and then hit me with it.”

Working with the enemy came with many surprises. And soon the hating game became tempting, hot and adventurous.

“I couldn’t have her, so I wanted her more. More than I’d ever wanted anyone. It was clichéd to fuck, but I didn’t care. Something about the way she looked at me when she got annoyed sparked something deep inside me.”

The line between hate and love is unvisible and Parker while trying to tease Raven and drive her up the wall didn't know when his feelings began to change.

“My biggest problem with you is that I'm trying to hate you the way I have done for years, and I can't.”

I'm not a drinker, but I swear to God, those mixed up beauties were worth getting wasted. Emma Hart did it again and came up with a book that has it all.

Review: Twist

Twist Twist by Kylie Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

description

description

I can't imagine someone not giving this book 5 stars! Shit you not, this was a twisted, fuckintastic story.

Twist is actually my first book to Kylie Scott and I'm kissing my lucky stars I met Alex and Joe.

Alexandra Parks and commitment are words that don't go together. For her, one night stands are fun and easy to deal with.

Relationships? “They were one hell of a complication.”

Loneliness? It's her speciality.

“Alone accepted you exactly as you were. It never lied to me or let me down.
For all of these reasons and more, I loved alone. One day we’d probably wed. Marty could be best man.”

When Alex finally decided to give relationships a shot, she signed in a dating website to meet the great amazing good looking Eric Collins and realize that she was missing a lot.

Eric Collins was everything she dreamed about in a guy, that's why when he stopped texting, she packed, got a ticket and decided to surprise him with a visit on his birthday.

When she arrived, Alex was met with a different kind of surprises.

description

When Joe Collins used a dating website to create an account for his brother and get him in the filed , he never thought he would be using that same account to talk to the sassy, gorgeous and amazing Alex, but when she stood in front of him in the bar, Joe had to right the wrong, cinvince Alex of his good intentions and show her the real Joe.

Truth be told, the man was a liar but if you add irresistible, gorgeous, muscled, funny and hot as hell then you'll be able to give the man an accurate definition.

description

“Wise or not, my ovaries had seized control and they wanted to make big strong babies with the man, pronto. Common sense never stood a chance.”

Falling in love with Joe wasn't on the menu especially when he was a liar, but those moments she was forced to spend with him, showed her the man she dreamed about all those months.

description

“I loved him and I hated him, and I honestly hadn’t known him long enough for either. But he had me. There could be no fighting this one true fact. Joe had me, whether he wanted me or not.”

I so much enjoyed reading Twist. The banter, the wit and the chemistry between Alex and Joe was fantastic.

Kylie Scott you got yourself a new devoted fan :)

Review: Revelry

Revelry Revelry by Kandi Steiner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

description

God! I'm in a Revelry coma right now.

“I’ve never met anyone who takes responsibility for their own happiness the way you do. You inspire me. I want to be better. Hell, I want to live—not just exist—because of you.”

I'm really glad I had the chance to read this book and I'm so surprised to see that there are people who DNF it.

Meh

Unless you went through a divorce or had someone special go through it, you'll never imagine how world shattering, heart breaking and painful it can be. It's never about who walked away first or who stood to fight, it's about the damage your soul will always suffer both ways. It's about even when given a second chance at love you'll never be the same again.

Five months post her divorce, Wren decided to rent a cabin outside Seatle for three months to mourn her lost life, find who she became and try to use her abandoned sketchbook to create designs she no longer was able to create.

When she met the mysterious Anderson Black, she couldn't decide if the man was a gentleman or an asshole but something dangerous drew her to him, something she wasn't ready for but wanted so much.

“I need you.” His voice was low, the bass of it connected to the blood pulsing through my veins. Those three words unraveled any uncertainty I had. I couldn’t be certain that I wasn’t setting myself up for heartache, or that I wasn’t doing the same to him, but in that moment, it didn’t matter. He needed me. I didn’t know why—didn’t need to know why—because the truth was I needed him, too. And more than that, I wanted him, so badly it physically pained me”.

Living for almost seven years like a ghost, the new blondy shouldn't have bothered Anderson. They always come and go and they are always beautiful, but this new comer was totally different. As soon as their eyes met, Anderson knew that behind the make up and the bright smile there was pain, hurt and hidden secrets.

“One car caught my eye. One moment, one look, and the haze I’d walked in for years blew out in a breath. Because every day was the same. And then I saw her.”

Revelry is about your second chance at love. It may be a work of fiction, but it's strong enough to teach you never to lose hope or think it's too soon or too late.

“If she really was a drug, addiction wasn’t just a possibility—it was a certainty.”
