Review: The Real

The Real The Real by Kate Stewart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 King-Of-Woo ⭐s

descriptionWe built our love on a foundation of gray.
It was life in black and white that threatened to tear us apart.

Oh. My. God!

description

I thought this was going to be a slow burn love story in which we'll get to live the whole experience and savour love, lust and raw feelings and how they melt together.
Turned out, this book holds more to it that meets the eye.

descriptionHis kiss gave both life and death. The end of everything as I knew it and the beginning of a need, a craving for only him.

description

I admit that the turning of the events gave me a hell of a surprise because I wasn't expecting anything like that. But that's Kate Stewart, she won't give you a plain book and miss the opportunity of delivering a story that's both amazing and heartbreaking.

Review: The Royally Series Collection

The Royally Series Collection The Royally Series Collection by Emma Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Royally Screwed (Royally, #1) by Emma Chase

5 Mouth-Gasming, Royally Fuckintastic stars crowns!

description

Finally...It's here!!!

description

Looking like a crazy bitch highlighting half of the book... That's what Emma Chase does to me whenever she writes a new book!!!

description

Omg! Nicholas and Olivia really knocked me on my arse! And I mean it in the Wesscan royally way.

description

Olivia Hammond, a lucky New yorker who got to live every woman's wet dream on earth; To be swept by a prince, live in his palace, spend the beautiful hours of the days in his company and scream his name during the heated nights in his bedroom.

description

Prince Nicolas believes that everything and everyone has a price and the beauty in front of him was no exception, except, Olivia was an exception and instead of kissing him for a thousand dollars, she smacked his face with one of her juicy pies.
Getting a full taste of the pie he now wants to taste the maker...

description

"...I can see the rapid throb of her pulse at the base of her delicate neck. It stirs a twisted, predatory instinct in me—if she feels like running, I’ll certainly chase."

Royally Screwed is a mixture of delicious sugary and juicy pies, duties and responsibilities and a love story that started with a 'ten-thousand-dollar-bid-to-have-a-night-with-you' and ended up with an 'I-will-give-up-the-world-to-have-you'...

I will definitely re-read this book and listen to the audio version because everybody knows how much in love I am with Emma chase. She had me at Drew ;)

Royally Matched (Royally, #2) by Emma Chase

Again...5 matching stars crowns!

description

Le sigh..

description

I'm a huge fan of Emma Chase, and if you've read The Tangled Series you'd understand what I mean. She's the queen of romance, gorgeous and funny heroines and heroes you'd die to meet in real life.

Royally Matched is book #2 in the series (Royally). It's the story of reckless prince Henry who found himself the new Crown prince and future king of Wesco after his brother Nicolas- The bastard, his word not mine- abdicated the throne to marry Olivia.

Prince Henry wasn't good at behaving or taking orders, when a producer suggested a reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle to capture his heart and wear his ring, bored as he was, he jumped to the idea willing to have his life of fun and partying back.

But as soon as he met the shy Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, things like responsibility, hope, protection and love start to find their way to his heart.

“I want to change the world with you at my side, holding your hand. I love you, Sarah, and whatever happens, I promise there won’t be a day that I don’t love you with all that I am.”

Emma Chase never fails to amaze me with her breathtaking stories and her funny and gorgeous characters. Royally Matched is a must read because it's a fantasy more than a story...

Review: Birthday Girl

Birthday Girl Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 make a wish ⭐s!

description

descriptionWe want it, but we know we shouldn’t.”

I wish I can give this book all the stars, because it's what it really deserves.

Penelope Douglas not only wrote a story, she created a tornado of emotions in this Birthday Girl book. A story full of angst, love, complications and hope.

description You make my heart pound so hard it hurts, Jordan. You, your mouth, and who you are, it all makes me want to touch you. It makes me not want to stop this.”

I admit that when I read the blurb, I thought it was a spank-me-daddy-coz-I'm-naughty kind of story, but when I met Pike and Jordan, I knew they were meant to be no matter what.

Leave it to Penelope Douglas to transform a forbidden story into something sweet, steamy and heartbrakingly beautiful and I was so lucky to read it.

Review: Recovered

Recovered Recovered by Jay Crownover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Reed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s!

“What are we doing?” I had no idea, but I was positive it was going to be the best and worst thing that had ever happened to me. “Well . . . I’m going to ruin you, and you . . . you’re going to do your best to save me.”

Though I'm so caught up with work, I couldn't shelve this book without leaving some words to express how amazing it was.

CABLE KEPT ME UP TILL 4 AM!

description

TOTALLY WORTH IT, by the way.

When I read the introduction and knew that the book was inspired by the author's first heartbreak and that Cable really exists, Recovered did a number on me. I devoured the pages and hoped that fiction would make the dreams that real life shattered come true.

“Some souls were never meant to be saved. They might end up on the right path, but without fail, they will veer off. It’s all they know how to do. No matter how badly they might be hurting other people, they still lose their way.

Recovered is a stunning, heartbreaking and absolute beautiful piece of work. It deals with addiction in its most ugly way, with loss and how it would leave its horrible mark, it also deals with heartbreak and how much it hurts, but it also deals with love and its ability to make wonders, with hope for a bright future and how determination is able to turns ugly pages and opens clean ones.
