Review: Big Shot

Big Shot Big Shot by Carly Phillips
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 frenmy stars!

This was my first book to Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. It's the story of big shot Wes Sinclair and his nemesis Natalie Prescott.

The cold war between the two adversaries started the day Wes refused to hire Natalie in Premier Reality, the firm he created with his three best friends Connor, Max and Kyle. Working for his opponent and stealing his deals was Natalie's way at getting revenge and showing the cocky Wes that he no longer rule the field.

“Did that hurt?”
Confused by her question—because to his knowledge he hadn’t suffered any kind of injury recently—he frowned. “Did what hurt?”
She fluttered her lashes at him coquettishly. “You having to admit defeat to little Natalie Prescott.”

To show Natalie who's got the upper hand, Wes suggested a bet. If she loses, she would be at his beck and call for two weeks but if he looses, he would have to hire her in the firm as a broker.

Losing a bet to your frenmy is definitely calling for a disaster. But Natalie is not a quitter and she would make the most of the two weeks she would be stuck to Wes and show him who would have the last word.

“I’m waving the fucking white flag, okay?”

Exploring the attraction between Wes and Nat would put so many things in danger especillay Wes's balls if Connor discovered anything, but Wes was no longer able to ignore his need for her or the urge to bend her, spank her and show her who was in control.

Big Shot is a sweet frenmy love story that would make you smile most of the time.

“I love you, Natalie Prescott. More than I ever believed was possible.”
