5 “Phe-nom-e-nal” Stars!

My happy sigh...

description

“No one crosses our path without a reason.”

Confession to self: I'm totally in love with this book, the HOT quarterback, the story and the author herself.

Sue me but how can I not when everything about Fake Fiancée is“phe-nom-e-nal.”

The book opens to Sunny Blaine drowning with her car in a lake but saved at the last minute by a handsome guy -or was it an angel?!

“A young man—or angel—huddled over me. I blinked, zeroing in on him. Even wet he was handsome with a jaw that was wonderfully chiseled, lips that were lush, and broad shoulders that looked as if they could hold the weight of the world.”

Three years later, fate brought them together but her savior didn't seem to recognise her.

With the coming nomination for the Heisman Trophy, Max had to play it low and clear his image. Striking a deal with his neighor Sunny Blaine to be his fake fiancée was the best, but with the mysterious bonding he felt toward her things began to feel more real than fake.

“Do you feel this thing between us? Like a connection?” he murmured and then scoffed a little under his breath as if the idea was ludicrous.
“No,” I lied.”

Ilsa Madden-Mills always delivers amazing stories with heart melting heroes. Fake Fiancée has is all. A successful football player with a heart of gold and a kind hearted heroine who “wore her scars like wings” but though was ready to forgive her painful past and never make it shape her happy future.
