Review: Dirty Vacation: This is No Love Story

Dirty Vacation: This is No Love Story Dirty Vacation: This is No Love Story by Janice Collins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2.5 stars!

Being the first to rate and review this novella is a little weird but as the author stated at end of the novella that she wanted an honest review, an honest review she would get.

I must confess that the blame is on the cover for choosing this book in the first place.

I mean look at it!! It's mouth watering, heart pounding and panty melting.

Dirty Vacation: This is No Love Story opens to five friends going on vacation. Fun, liquor, men and a lot of men are top on their lists.

Jen - our heoine- was finally ready for some fun. This was her first vacation and she would make the most of it. Seeing the mysterious man making out with another woman shouldn't have bothered her but somehow it did. He was the first man she noticed in the party and with the way he looked at her, he set all her body parts in fire.

Ryan was a great hero material. He was the mystery womanizing guy with that yummy alphahole attitude but who unfortunately didn't get his real chance in this so short novell.

Whenever I read a book I feel some kind bonding with the characters. I couldn't feel anything in this novella. Janice Collins made Jen look like one of the random girls the hero hooks up with before meeting the heroine and that didn’t do her justice.

Yes, this is no love story but if Janice Collins decided to give this story a second chance and write a full length story where these two amazing characters meet some years later, it would be sure as hell a real success.
